Not sure if anyone else saw him, but curly-haired funny guy and all-round decent chap Alan Davies was sitting in the row in front of us at Villa last night, along with his not unattractive wife. Also not sure if he felt entirely comfortable, what with politely and quietly taking his seat 5 minutes before kick-off, woolly hat hiding his easily-distinguishable barnet, and still being met with an extremely loud "LOOK, LOOK, IT'S JONATHAN CREEK, THERE, ITS JONATHAN CREEK, THERE, THERE" from my fellow Telford member to my right... hahaha. Friends of the stars, us.

HA HA! That's brilliant mate. It's been a while since I saw any famous fans at a game. I saw Lisa Rogers (Big Breakfast, Scrapheap Challenge) up at Old Trafford in 2001, Ainsley Harriott going into the North Bank a few seasons back (he had to duck to get through the turnstiles!), Rory McGrath on the tube en route to Highbury and finally Shovell from M People outside the airport in La Coruna! Out of those I only approached Lisa Rogers (for obvious reasons! ) and had a photo taken with her.

Saw Alan Davies propping up a lampost in Upper Street during the 2004 victory parade..my missus thinks he's cute I had a slash next to Melvyn Bragg once in the urinals in the East Stand. I thought I'd give him a day off from his celebrity but the guy the other side of him had different ideas.. "Oi Melvyn you wanna do a South Bank special show on our Tony Adams - he's the greatest artist the world's ever known" etc etc blah bah.. ;D (Do you think he meant "piss artist"?!!) Melvyn didn't reply, just grunted in that nasal way of his, shook his stuff and shuffled off. Blimey, just realised I'm never gonna have a slash in the East Stand urinals again!!

once, when i was sad and didn't have any friends, i went to see wolves play at the molineux. half time came, i was desperate for a slash, and found myself next to robert 'percy' plant. i didn't look, i hasten to add. but if you saw the look on his face as he finished and strode away, flicking his hair out of his eyes ? the man is confident... haha!!

Careful mate, you're bordering on Tottenham fan behaviour there! ;D
