Im goin to the villa with my cousin, and i was wondering where people were meeting up before hand. It would be useful if people could give me directions or info on where people meet up - giles sent me a text of the away pub but ive deleted it by accident. Any news would be greatly appreciated.

It's called the Cap and Gown mate. Half the pub is given to away fans (there is even a separate entrance for visiting fans). It is only two minutes walk from the away entrance, right on Witton Island, however it does charge £2 per person to gain entry. You might want to take note of the following website to help you with future away games. It's got all sorts of info inc pubs, parking, directions, etc for every league club. www.footballgroundguide.co.uk

How are any of you guys going to the Villa game from Worcester, are you driving or going on the train?

Can anyone suggest a place to park for this game ? It looks like I'm driving, but aren't sure where the best place is to leave the car (apart from at home...) ? Cheers.

wherever you park you will still get some kids asking if "you want your car minding" cost you a couple of quid, but they won't be there when you get back anyway, just hope your car still is

Just remembered ! The game is being shown in the Bridge Inn pub, Newport. Highly recommended.

Not the greatest of games was it?!
Well happy with the result though and if we can do more of this next season (i.e. not play that great but get a win) then it could be a lot more interesting.
Big shout must go out to Gallas. I don't know if all of you stayed till after the final whistle but he dragged all our players over to our section to acknowledge our support plus throwing some shirts into the crowd. Top man!

100% agreed. it was fantastic to see the whole team, plus subs, come over. too many times this season we've seen them walk off with barely an acknowledgement. we deserve it, for the pain they put us through...!

I'm loving Gallas with every game.
Even at the end of the Everton game he came over to acknowledge our support (which was outstanding by the way considering the conditions!). Theo is learning well from him too by giving his shirt away. Not too sure I would have if I were playing as it was hailing big time!
